Traverse Buddhist mani walls, exploring monasteries and gain insight into a oldest culturally fascinating trekking region. The main trek over a breathtaking views of high mountain pass, walk over moving glacial terrain and discover the 8th highest Manaslu peak in the world is known as the mountains of the spirit.
Entrance to this remote mountain haven and restricted conservation area is home to the endangered snow leopard and was only opened to trekkers from 1992. The trekking route has only just become available to do as a teahouse trek and is part of The Great Himalayan Trail. One of a spectacular alternative to the Annapurna Circuit Region or Everest region, the dramatic landscape of the narrow Manaslu Circuit valley is a trek truly off the beaten track and way to Tsum Valley.

MOST IMPORTANT: During the journey using local teahouses, instead of camping (which has been the traditional means of accommodation in the past) we all trekking team of Nepal Base Camp Treks directly contributing to livelihoods of those living within the Manaslu Area and Annapurna Conservation areas too. Staying overnight in teahouses is environmentally sounder than staying in tented campsites along with the added benefit of warmth and comfort. Tented accommodations often bury their waste and pollute the grounds. Staying in the accommodation of local teahouses also ensures that we use and eat a variety of fresh vegetable, locally home grown products, instead of bringing our supplies from vibrant Kathmandu and other areas.

Flying into Kathmandu on a clear day is an unforgettable experience with the entire Nepalese The great himalaya laid out below of you.
